Masala dosa personality
Heights of Research

There are many ways to eat a masala dosa. What ever the wayone eats; there is a very good reason for doing that. It shows some traitsof the person...

Case 1: Peoplewho open the masala dosa and eat it: These are the people who are veryopen about their life. Everyone one the persons friends would know allabout him/her. I have generally seen guys do this rather than girls. Somepeople think that it is a gross way of eating but in truth, these peopleare just portraying who they are and how their life is.

Case 2: Peoplewho start from both end and approach the masala later: These are thepeople who like to wait for the exiting things to come to their life. Sadlywhen the times comes, they are not too interested or just do not know howto enjoy it to the fullest. These are the folks who just want life as eitherdry or exiting. They just do not know how to phase their life and enjoyit no matter what. There are two types of people within this group

Case 2.1: Peoplewho do not finish all the masala: These folks just do not care as muchfor the fun times as they are already brought down by the harsh realityof life. The dry periods in their life has left them with so much scarsthat they do not want to be really happy when the time is right.. Theyjust take only as much as they needed and end their life. A very sorrystate indeed.

Case 2.2: Peoplewho finish all the masala with the little dosa they have: These arethe folks who just are the extremes. They just go all out in life. No matterit is dark or bright. They may not enjoy life to the fullest but they suremake sure that they get every single good and bad thing out of life. Sometimesthese folks are really hard to get along with. They are either your bestfriends or your worst enemies. They do not have a middle path at all.

Case 3: Peoplewho start from the middle and proceed to both ends: These are the peoplewho like to get right to what they think is their best part of life. Usuallythese guys finish of the good portions in a hurry and get stuck with nothingbut worst parts of their life. The thing to note among these people isthat the tendency to burn out very early in their life. Like the abovecase, there are two kinds of people in this group too.

Case 3.1: Peoplewho do not finish the dosa: These folks are really the saddest of people. They are the ones who tend to end their life as soon as it hits the badpatch. For them, they only need and want the best things in life and nothingmore. Typically, they are not prepared or tuned to life as a whole. Theyjust want to enjoy from first till last. Sadly, no one in the world canlive without even an ounce of sadness in life. Not even the richest ofthe richest. But to self destruct at the mere sign of distress is verybad. That is what these guys tend to do. Some learn to live life but mostof them do not.

Case 3.2: Peoplewho do finish the dosa: These folks are the typical human beings. Weall enjoy the greatest of times in life and push the sad parts thinkingabout the great times in life. Typically the plate is clean and nothingis left for fate or in life. Happiness and sadness are part of life andthese guys know that and are kind of prepared for it. Life is not alwayshappy but there are moments of happiness here and there.

Case 4: Peoplewho eat the dosa making sure that the masala lasts for the whole dosa:These people are very rare. These are the people who like to attain balancein their life. It is hard to displease these people and it is hard to makethem really happy. They like their balance and are very protective of it.Sadly these are the people who tend to be lonely as anyone else may upsetthe balance of their system. Perfectionist to the core and are very careful. These guys do not make the best company but are needed in any group tomake the group from going hay wire.

Case 5: Peoplewho do not share and eat the dosa as if it is precious: These folksare very protective about their life. They do not want anyone to come andinterfere in their life. They like to hide their true nature and intensionsfor their benefit. Beware of such people as they are in every group fortheir own need and nothing else.

Case 6: Peoplewho offer their first bite to others: These guys are overly friendly. They do anything to be part of a group and make everyone feel like thegroup is important than the individuals. They are the glue that holds anygroup together. They are very friendly and bring the best of all the othersin the group. They go out of their way to help other friends. Most groupsshould have a person like this and they are the ones who plan the groupoutings and other group activities. Once this person is out of the group, typically the group slowly falls apart.

Case 7: Peoplewho take one or two bites and then offer the dosa to others: Theseguys care about friends and friendship but they take their time to getinto the group. They take their time in making friends and they typicallyare very committed once into the friendship. These guys like to alwaysbe in the side lines and typically do not jump into anything in life. Theyalways take their time to analyze the situation and then make a decision. These guys take the better safe than sorry approach.

Case 8: Peoplewho wait for others to make the offer first: Typical people I mustsay. They are unsure about everything. Even if they wanted to offer, theywill wait till the other person offers the food first. If the other personis silent, so are these people. They are the followers. They do terrificidea, they will pitch it to someone else and get their advice before proceeding.Sadly, most of the elderly world like these types of people.

Case 9: Peoplewho offer dosa only when they cannot finish it on their own: You allmay be familiar with these kinds of people. People who are very generousonly when all their needs are fulfilled. These folks are selfish but atthe same time not misers or greedy. They just want to satisfy themselvesbefore they give it to the world. They typically do not stuff themselvesnor do they tend to starve. They are very good people who would give youthe best of advices in life. They would make sure that you are not sadfollowing their advice.

Case 10: Peoplewho offer the whole dosa and eat from others plates: These folks areother extreme. They know what they want, they get what they want but theycannot enjoy what they want. Instead they tend to settle for other thingsin life which satisfies the needs but does not satisfy the person completely. These guys are termed as born losers cause even when they have the thingthey wanted, they can't stop others from stealing it from them.

So next time you sit with a person eating a masala dosa, look closely andsee if he/she falls into one of the above categories. You may be surprisedas how much it reveals about the person.

Enjoy eating Masala Dosa !!!

Straws: Useful Information

Drinking Straw

Useful Information, received from my friend

I ordered a Club Sandwich  and a Sprite in a restaurant..  When I finished  half of the sandwich I sipped a sprite. But  it  didn't taste  like   an ordinary sprite I used to drink.. So I sipped once  more, but  it still tasted the same. It tasted like a sprite mixed with  some kind of oil.

I called the clerk and asked him if the sprite was expired.. He said it was just delivered today. So  I asked him to taste it. Then he also found that something was wrong with it.

Both of us were wondering for a while. Then I got to look inside the straw. There were a lot of tiny  black round things that looked like eggs. So I cut the middle of the straw lengthwise to have a better look.. Yuck.

There were a lot of tiny black round things in it.. I suppose they were eggs of cockroach. About 1000 eggs were there. Then I began to check all the other straws in the straws case one by one. Almost all of them contained black eggs that seemed to be either the cockroach eggs or excretions..

After the incident I  began to check all the straws in the restaurants and fast food  chains that I had gone to. Almost of all the straws contained the  same black eggs..

Especially the darker the colors of straws, the more black eggs were found. In black straws, extreme amount of black eggs were found.

It was found out that it's because the cockroaches live (hatch eggs and excrete) in the dark places.

* 80% or more restaurants in the malls use red or black colored straws.

SO NEXT TIME.... BE CAUTIOUS... CHECK THE STRAW BEFORE YOU PLACE IT INSIDE THE DRINK.

Zemanta helped me add links & pictures to this email. It can do it for you too.

10 Amazing Moths with Multiple Personalities

10 Amazing Moths with Multiple Personalities

Loading images, Please wait...

Just like the bugs with faces we portrayed a while ago, their cousins the moths refer to a similar tactic when dealing with predators: frighten the hell out of them by putting on a scary face. Or should we say wearing their heart on their wings? In either case, these tactics are quite cool, take a closer look. This above doesn't only look cool in a Star-Trek kind of way but also has a cool name: Oleander hawk moth (daphnis nerii), often spelled Oleander hawkmoth. It can be found in southern Europe, Turkey, Africa and India. This moth with its distinct green "fur" (did you know moths could be that fuzzy?) has a wingspan from 9 to 13 cm.

The Atlas moth (attacus atlas) really doesn't take any chances: Not only is it the largest butterfly species, reaching a wingspan of almost 30 cm, its wing tips look like snake heads (the forked tongue seems to appear any minute) and the rest of its wing design like a colorful, scary mask. No wonder it is so careful as its life as a butterfly is precious, lasting only ten days. That's one busy, versatile moth!

This Luna moth (actias luna) seems the Zen-kind of fellow, looking remarkably like a green Ganesh, the Indian elephant god and protector from all evils. The Luna moth actually has two equally long wing tips but this one is missing one, making it look all the more like an elephant trunk. That plus the half-closed eye spots and the tuft of white (hair) at the top – this could easily become a favorite! Its habitat is North America from Ontorio to northern Mexico and the warmer the climate, the longer their life span (minimum seven days) and the more generations (one to three) per year.

Speaking of favorites – this moth from Costa Rica takes the cake. Or better, the pitchfork. That face in the middle looks positively like the devil. This moth is a true master of camouflage with its inconspicuous brown coloring that makes it look like a run-of-the-mill garden moth. Unless it is turned around. Let's hope its predator is not part of a satanic cult.

Now, from scary to cute – this Scalloped Oak moth (crocallis elinguaria) can be found in any English country garden. It is small (wingspan 2.5 cm) and adorable with its black, beady eyes peering through the Zorro-like mask (or blindfold?) and the fluffy brown nose. While its predators go "awwww" it's already gone…

Now this fellow, a beige Angle Shades moth (phlogophora meticulosa) with a wingspan of 4.5 to 5 cm, is also a native of the UK. Though it has a similar colouring than the previous one, it looks positively scarier. Is it because of the framed eye spots and matching band at the wing tips? Or is it because of the moth body that seems to form a proper nose?

Here's its brother, a dark brown Angle Shades moth. Though it is the same moth family, the wing patterns are distinctly different, making this one look more like a scary, tribal mask than a face.

Like moth no. 3, this moth reminds one remarkably of an elephant, which is why it is called Elephant hawk moth (deilephila elpinor) but it is actually related to the Oleander hawk moth – notice the similarities in wing and body shape and fuzziness. The pink pattern is amazing though, especially the spots that mimic those of a painted elephant's trunk.

The wing pattern of this North American grey-and-black Cutworm moth (noctuinae) reminds of a mask. The symmetrical marks below the rectangular "eyes," white in this specimen, are distinct features of cutworm moths.

Last but not least, Spirama retorta of the Spirama helicina family, a moth with an exotic wing pattern from Thailand is part of the noctuidaes. With the intricate woven lines and the frayed wingtips, it looks like the moth is hiding under a woollen rug. But it must be one hell of a predator that is being scared off by those eyes!
